GIVE YOUR NZA CLOTHES A BIT EXTRA CARE

At NZA, we are committed to ensuring that you can enjoy our NZA ‘s products for as long as possible. By following our care guide, tailored to specific products and materials, we aim to support the longevity of your items while being mindful of the environment, the product's quality, and your experience.

COTTON*

Cotton remains a staple in fashion for its unmatched softness, breathable comfort, and effortless adaptability. From structured silhouettes to relaxed essentials, this natural fibre offers durability and ease, evolving with your style season after season.

  • Wash in cold water, it helps retain the garment’s colour

  • Wash less, it helps to prevent the fabric and it’s better for the environment.

  • Store in a cool, dry place to prevent mold

  • Use padded hangers for delicate items and fold heavier garments like sweaters to avoid stretching

  • Air drying helps to prevent shrinkage, maintain their shape, and save energy.

* Always refer to the care label on the garment, as this information is leading.

LINNEN*

Linen is a soft and breathable material, which makes it the perfect fabric for summer. It is a durable and strong material that can last forever if taken proper care of.

  • Spot clean minor stains.

  • Wash cold with mild detergent to preserve the fabric

  • Air-dry your linen garments between wears

  • Avoid the dryer and air-dry your linen flat

  • Iron inside out while slightly damp on a low heat setting to avoid damage

  • Store linen in a cool, dry place to prevent discoloration

* Always refer to the care label on the garment, as this information is leading.

WOOL*

Wool is naturally soft, breathable, and odour-resistant, a perfect blend of comfort and function. With just a little care, your sweater will stay in great shape and can last for years.

  • Wool does not have to be washed often

  • Hand washing in cold or lukewarm water is recommended with special wool detergent

  • Do not hang to dry to avoid reshaping; instead, lay flat to dry on a clean towel and reshape it to its original size

  • Store wool in a cool, dry place and protect it from moths with repellent bags.

Extra care:

  • Pilling is normal on your wool sweater. This can easily be removed with the fabric shaver that is available to purchase in our stores.  (see our small repairs tips)

  • Loose threads or small holes? Mend with a simple needle and thread or take it to a local repair service.

* Always refer to the care label on the garment, as this information is leading.

DENIM*

Denim is durable; if you treat it well, your denim will last you a lifetime and will get more unique every time you wear it.

Denim does not have to be washed often; by washing your jeans less and at a low temperature, you save water and energy.  Air out your jeans for refreshed results or put them in the freezer overnight.

  • Spot clean the stains with the damp cloth.

  • Wash your jeans inside out and do not tumble dry, always close the zips and buttons

  • Choose gentle detergents free of harsh chemicals

  • Air out or steam your jeans for refreshed results

* Always refer to the care label on the garment, as this information is leading.

SYNTHETICS*

Synthetic fabrics like polyester and nylon are known for their exceptional durability, elasticity, and resistance to wrinkles and moisture. However, they also shed microplastics that can enter the water during the washing process.

  • Wash less, air out, or steam in between washes

  • Spot clean minor stains

  • Air dry and avoid tumble drying

  • Use a special bag, such as a Guppy bag, to capture microfibres during washing

* Always refer to the care label on the garment, as this information is leading.

SUEDE SHOES

  • q Use a special suede brush to gently brush off any dirt from the shoes

  • Small stains can be removed by using a special suede eraser

  • For cleaning bigger stains, use a microfibre cloth and dip it in a suede cleaner or white vinegar, and gently rub off the stains

  • To protect the shoes from water stains, use suede protectant spray
