Intern – Sustainability & Quality

Job title: Quality & Sustainability Intern 
Location: On-site/hybrid HQ Amsterdam 
Duration: minimal 6 months
Starting date: as soon as possible 
Department: Sustainability / Quality Assurance

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Quality and Sustainability team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality control processes, sustainable material sourcing, compliance standards within the fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Assist in product inspections and quality control checks during various stages of production.
•    Help document and track quality issues and suggest corrective actions.
•    Research and evaluate sustainable materials, packaging and suppliers.
•    Contribute to environmental impact assessments (scope emission’s data gathering) 
•    Support internal sustainability reporting and audits 
•    Assist in compiling data for certifications (Textile Exchange standards, GOTS, BCI, BSCI)
•    Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement in quality and sustainability
•    Help implement waste reduction and circularity projects (EPR, ESPR)
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams including design and product development
•    Attend meetings with vendors and factories to discuss quality and sustainability expectations.

Qualifications:

•    Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion, Textile Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
•    Passion for sustainability and ethical supply chains.
•    Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
•    Excellent communication and organizational skills.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with PLM systems or sustainability software is a plus.
•    Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
